Senior Proposal Manager

Join to apply for the Senior Proposal Manager role at Motion Recruitment. Our client is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to join its Corporate Marketing team in a hybrid role based in New York. This is a full‑time opportunity supporting transactional legal practices, working closely with senior lawyers and business development professionals to develop high‑quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of tailored pitches, proposals, and RFP responses in partnership with senior lawyers.

• Translate complex legal and business concepts into clear, persuasive written materials.

• Manage proposal timelines from request through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Develop and maintain experience lists, deal descriptions, and reusable proposal content.

• Coordinate feedback from partners and business development stakeholders.

• Track proposal activity and outcomes within CRM and content management systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience developing pitches, proposals, and RFP responses in a professional services environment (legal, investment banking, or consulting).

• Strong understanding of corporate transactions, including M&A, Securities, and Capital Markets.

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Prior business development experience within a law firm.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and experience databases.

• Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.

Offer

• Base salary range: $176,000 – $258,000 (based on experience and location).

• Full‑time, exempt position.
