The Evaluation Manager plays a vital role in BCNC’s agency-wide efforts to modernize the processes used to track organizational goals and impact. This role collaborates with external evaluators and works closely with all eight BCNC programs—including Program Directors, designated staff members, and the Chief Program Officer—to ensure the timely collection, analysis, and documentation of data for an 18-month evaluation project. The Evaluation Manager reports directly to the Chief Program Officer.

This is a 25‑hour‑per‑week position.

In This Role, You Will
  • Actively engage in all phases of BCNC’s evaluation project, from participating in training and technical assistance meetings facilitated by external consultants to supporting cross-program data collection for analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to update and refine program evaluation processes (e.g., update logic models, identify evaluation tools, and collect and analyze data).
  • Develop a program evaluation outcome tracking tool and support programs to ensure timely collection and entry of data.
  • Develop reports and presentations to communicate data findings to diverse audiences (i.e., staff, Senior Leadership Team, community partners, etc.).
  • Manage Electronic Record System (ERS), including overseeing the accuracy of universal intake form entries, managing role-based access settings, pulling data from the system, and communicating with the ERS vendor as needed.
  • Provide training to new staff on ERS utilization and data collection, as needed.
  • Attend relevant professional development opportunities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What We Look For
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.
  • Experience in project management and data analysis (e.g., Excel, Power BI, statistical software like SPSS).
  • Knowledge about evaluation frameworks such as logic models and theory of change, and/or tracking of project goals and outcomes preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ethical data practices.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive health, life, and disability coverage.
  • Retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Supportive time‑off policy.
  • Professional development.
Working Conditions

  • This position involves performing essential job functions in typical work environments, including but not limited to offices, classrooms, or community settings. Duties may require routine movement such as walking, standing, and bending.
