Senior Director, Global Footwear Product Management - Converse

The Senior Director, Global Footwear Product Management leads and develops a high-performing team of product managers and directors, connecting Product Management, Design, Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Commercial, and Regional Business teams. The role owns the creation and execution of the global footwear product strategy, shaping a focused portfolio that balances consumer relevance, innovation, commercial performance, and brand integrity. It unites teams around the decisions, roadmaps, and creation milestones that drive sustainable growth, marketplace relevance, and brand distinction.

• Define the global footwear product strategy and develop a multi-year roadmap across key franchises and categories.
• Simplify and prioritise the portfolio to create greater consumer clarity and business impact.
• Establish franchise growth plans, product ladders, pricing architecture, and innovation pathways while identifying whitespace opportunities.
• Translate consumer behaviours, market trends, competitive insights, and cultural shifts into clear product opportunities and compelling consumer propositions.
• Partner with Design, Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, Marketing, Commercial, and Regional Business teams to align the portfolio and respond to local market needs.
• Lead product creation gate reviews, product prioritisation decisions, and key business milestones from development through commercialisation.
• Develop product managers and directors while building a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; any suitable combination of education, experience, and training will be accepted.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in footwear, apparel, or consumer products, including 5+ years leading global product management or merchandising organisations.
• Proven experience managing multi-category global product portfolios and building and scaling major product franchises.
• Strong understanding of footwear creation, merchandising, product lifecycle management, and commercialisation, with experience working in global, matrixed organisations.
• Deep expertise in product strategy, franchise and category management, product creation, merchandising, and commercialisation.
• Ability to identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, market trends, competitive analysis, and cultural shifts, and to translate them into compelling products and narratives.
• Ability to simplify complex portfolios, establish product ladders and pricing architecture, and balance heritage, innovation, profitability, and commercial potential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with clarity and accountability, build strong teams, and influence senior stakeholders through thoughtful recommendations and data-driven business cases.
• Ability to thrive in a global, matrixed organisation and inspire cross-functional partners to deliver world-class footwear products.

• Master of Business Administration or another advanced business degree.
