Residential Supervisor – The Home for Little Wanderers (Dorchester, MA)
Part‑time, 30 hours per week, Thursday‑Saturday 1 PM‑11 PM.
The Home for Little Wanderers provides extensive training and support to all new staff and many opportunities for career and professional development.
How You’ll Be Making a DifferenceWhen you join The Home for Little Wanderers, you join a team of professionals dedicated to creating better, brighter futures for kids. In this role, you will lead direct care staff and help youth who have experienced trauma or have significant emotional and behavioral challenges to achieve a stable and hopeful future.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Milieu/Program Director to ensure appropriate staffing coverage.
- Hire, train, supervise, performance‑manage, and evaluate direct care staff.
- Mediate staff issues and employee conflicts.
- Host team meetings and provide training and weekly supervision.
- Prior experience working with youth.
- High school diploma or equivalency; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
The pay range listed represents the company’s good faith estimate of the salary or wage range for this position at the time of posting, as required under applicable law. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, and internal equity relative to other employees in similar roles. Candidates with less directly related experience may be placed toward the lower end of the range, while those with extensive or specialized experience may be placed toward the higher end.
