Part-Time Private Educator & Curriculum Designer; Live-Out

A family of six, in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, needs to hire a part-time Private Educator/ Governess to assist in the at-home education of their eldest child (kindergarten age). The family is seeking someone to help navigate the home school system and create a curriculum to help their child thrive and prepare to enter the school system in later years. The governess should be familiar with homeschooling and state requirements and able to handle the testing and reporting that is necessary.

The family prefers applicants already local to MA, though they are open to applicants who have experience teaching elsewhere. The ideal schedule will be Mondays/ Wednesdays/ Fridays for 5-6 hours a day, ideally an 8 or 9am start. There are no responsibilities required for the younger children. Salary range: $60-120/hr. depending on experience. Immediate start!
