Construction Manager – Dorchester, MA – Contract (2 months)
SummaryThe Construction Manager will support substation electrical and utility construction projects for a Fortune 500 energy company serving New England. This onsite role requires extensive experience overseeing complex utility construction activities with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite construction management for substation electrical and utility projects.
- Oversee contractors and field activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate daily construction activities and resolve field issues efficiently.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Monitor project progress, schedule, and quality performance.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, engineering teams, and field personnel.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, reliability, and accountability on site.
- 10-15 years of experience in substation electrical or utility construction management.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale power or utility infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and field execution practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work onsite full time in Dorchester, MA.
