Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager who can take full ownership of high‑profile civil and utility infrastructure projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, skilled at delegating to a capable team, and able to maintain a strategic, big‑picture perspective while ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
This individual must be comfortable leveraging technology to improve workflows, communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders, and driving projects to successful, on‑time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all phases of large‑scale civil construction projects from pre‑construction through final closeout.
• Manage and mentor project managers, superintendents, and field staff to ensure team alignment and performance.
• Maintain overall project oversight while delegating effectively to achieve efficiency and quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Implement and maximize the use of construction technology and project management software.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract obligations, and company standards.
• Anticipate and resolve technical, scheduling, and logistical challenges.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive construction management experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success delivering large‑scale civil, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proficiency with construction technology, scheduling tools, and project management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
