Position Overview

The Environment Artist will be responsible for modeling, texturing, and lighting compelling 3D environments and props for the wildly successful co-op horror game, Backrooms:
Escape Together. This role places a strong emphasis on the creation of procedural and modular environments, leveraging both artistic vision and technical implementation to breakdown common environments found in real-life into a set of modular art pieces. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic sensibility, applied expertise in real-time rendering and procedural generational workflows, and a deep understanding of how liminal atmosphere and space contribute to player immersion.

You will work closely with designers and engineers to ensure all environments support both gameplay functionality and artistic vision.

About Triiodide Studios

Our mission is to create the best multiplayer experiences possible. We believe creating long-lasting memories that players can share with their friends or strangers takes precedence above all else.

Our current game, Backrooms:
Escape Together, is a continuously updated, level-based co-op horror inspired by the online lore of the Backrooms. Backrooms:
Escape Together regularly sits in the top 250 of Steam’s best-selling titles, and we are scaling up our art team to meet player demand.

If you want to get in on the ground floor of something big and are excited to be a key driver of future growth, this opportunity is for you.
