EF Educational Tours is seeking a passionate, digital-first Mid–Senior Level Digital Designer to join our Boston-based marketing team. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of how teachers and students engage with our brand online—crafting experiential, emotionally resonant digital design that inspires educators to show their students the world.

As a key member of our in‑house creative team, you’ll collaborate with other designers, writers, videographers, developers, social strategists, and marketers to elevate our digital ecosystem: from our website and email design systems to landing pages, interactive experiences, and multi‑platform campaigns. Your work will guide educators through their decision‑making journey, spark student excitement, and help bring travel‑based immersive learning to life in meaningful, industry‑leading ways.

What

you’ll do

Digital Design & Creative Development

Concept, design, and produce high‑impact digital assets across key channels—including websites, landing pages, design systems, email templates, digital ad campaigns, social content, and presentation experiences—while creating thoughtful motion design and micro‑interactions that enhance usability and storytelling, and applying (and evolving) our brand guidelines to build cohesive, scalable digital experiences across our marketing ecosystem.

Experience Design & System Thinking

Help evolve our digital interface patterns, component libraries, and email design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and long‑term scalability, partnering closely with UX, product, and development teams to bring designs to life in a polished, user‑centered way.

Creative Concepting & Collaboration

Brainstorm and execute digital‑led campaign concepts that emotionally resonate with educators and engage student travelers, working cross‑functionally with writers, videographers, social experts, strategists, and business partners to ensure every visual moment feels cohesive, modern, and on‑brand.

Brand Stewardship

Strengthen and evolve the EF Educational Tours digital visual identity across platforms by exploring new approaches to layout, typography, motion, and interaction that push the brand forward in fresh, modern, and culturally relevant ways.

Strategic Partnership & Problem‑Solving

Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand goals and design digital solutions that drive engagement, enrollment, and long‑term customer confidence. Identify opportunities to improve digital experiences and advocate for user‑centered design decisions.

Production & File Management

Prepare clean, ready‑to‑build files and components for development implementation. Maintain digital asset libraries, design systems, and documentation to ensure quality and continuity across touchpoints.

Research & Inspiration

Stay up to date with digital design trends, UX best practices, emerging technology, and youth culture to keep EF’s creative modern, effective, and inspiring.

The ideal candidate will have
  • 2–5 years of professional digital design experience
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (design systems, prototyping, component libraries)
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating brand‑level digital thinking
    , visual systems, and multi‑channel campaign work.
  • Experience designing for responsive websites, landing pages, email systems, and digital advertising.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility best practices, and performance‑minded design.
  • Strong visual storytelling and conceptual thinking skills
  • Comfort iterating in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
