Salary Grade: 44 ($20.13–$25.40 per hour). The salary of the finalist will be set based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and internal pay comparison.

The Pediatric Dental Assistant, working with the Clinic Director, is an integral member of the 7th Floor Clinical team, providing support to residents and faculty to deliver high‑quality dental care to patients. The assistant promotes teamwork among staff and faculty, ensuring each phase of patient treatment is a positive experience from initial appointment through completion.

• Taking radiographs and supervising and instructing residents on proper radiograph techniques during their clinical rotation.
• Assisting residents in the Pediatric Clinic with various dental procedures, demonstrating strong clinical skills through four‑handed dentistry.
• Preparing operatories for required treatment, ensuring cleanliness and disinfection between patients, and sterilizing instrument cassettes for recirculation following established infection‑control guidelines, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
• Scheduling patients.
• Ordering supplies.
• Seating and preparing patients for treatment.
• Delivering patient oral hygiene instructions.
• Demonstrating practice‑management skills by contacting patients as needed and reviewing schedules for optimal utilization.

• High School Diploma required.
• Vocational/Technical Degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience.
