Senior Product Designer, Real Estate Transactions

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we’re revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

At Compass, we envision a world where the experience of selling or buying a home is simple and pleasant for everyone. Founded in 2012, Compass provides an end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to their seller and buyer clients. This is all in service of our mission to help everyone find their place in the world.

Compass is building the first end-to-end real estate platform that connects agents, buyers, and sellers through technology. No one else has successfully merged the expertise of countless real estate agents with the capabilities of cloud, mobile, and AI technologies.

As one of our generation’s fastest-growing tech companies, we are responsible for creating a world-class product, design, and engineering team, and an operating platform that can revolutionize the real estate sector.

Product Designers lead the full lifecycle of their designs across all platforms, collaborate with product managers on strategy, participate in research to test and validate designs, and consult with engineering to bring everything to life.

We’re looking for an experienced product designer to work on complex real estate transaction related workflows and to deliver experiences that are simple and intuitive. You bring a solid knowledge of best practices and a keen ability to leverage data insights to substantially improve the value and performance of the products you work on. You value feedback, care deeply about quality, and are outcomes-focused.

You are great at collaborating with cross-functional peers and leading design thinking methodology. You communicate clearly and concisely and are comfortable interacting with executives and stakeholders to define an approach, present cohesive experiences, articulate decisions, and build alignment.

In addition to being a collaborative partner, you love to execute the creation of great user experiences: mapping seamless flows, contributing components to our design system, and prototyping. You’re hand-on and excited to roll up your sleeves and get things done as part of a dynamic team.

You have extensive knowledge of best-in-class UX patterns across web and native mobile platforms and an understanding of how to best integrate these patterns into our system. You also have a strong knowledge of platform affordances and how to use their constraints to enhance design features.

You have pixel-perfect standards with exceptional interaction design skills and an eye for accessibility and usability. You collaborate seamlessly with engineers to ensure well-executed, high-quality experiences on Web, iOS, and Android.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with a cross-functional team of product designers, product managers, transaction ops stakeholders and engineers to own the iterative design process of major feature initiatives from concept to shipping. You will ideate, prototype, and get user feedback on end-to-end platform design solutions that empower residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to their seller and buyer clients.
