Title: Digital Web Producer Manager
Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (in office Tuesday and Thursday)
Duration: Approximately 4 months temp, then perm
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $50-$58/hr depending on experience
The Planet Group is looking for a Digital Web Producer Manager to join our client on a contract-to-permanent basis. Our client is a globally renowned, top-tier pediatric academic medical center in New England.
Digital Web Producer Manager Responsibilities:- Develop reusable, branded, responsive, and accessible Drupal components and page templates for the web production team.
- Partner with digital strategy, UX, design, web production, and back-end development teams to plan and deliver new website features and functionality.
- Create, review, document, and maintain code in Git repositories and support established testing, release, and deployment processes.
- Translate approved designs and prototypes into scalable, high-quality website layouts, templates, and component-based experiences.
- Develop and customize Drupal themes, Twig templates, front-end components, and presentation-layer integrations.
- Support web-based campaign experiences, blogs, newsletters, and other digital content as needed.
- Develop functional, intuitive, mobile-first web experiences based on usability, accessibility, design-system, and performance standards.
- Provide ongoing front-end maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements, and quality assurance across Drupal and designated Word Press websites.
- Write clean, semantic HTML, modern CSS/Sass, and JavaScript and apply Drupal Twig templating standards.
- Create and evaluate prototypes and proof-of-concept experiences within project timelines.
- Collaborate with back-end developers on integrations, troubleshooting, debugging, and release readiness.
- Maintain Hospital brand, design-system, accessibility, and user-experience standards across digital interfaces.
- Stay current on front-end, Drupal, Word Press, accessibility, security, and web-performance practices.
- Apply usability, technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.2 AA, and secure-development best practices.
- Associate's degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of professional front-end development experience, including hands-on experience building or maintaining websites in Drupal.
- Experience supporting Word Press websites and participating in Word Press-to-Drupal migrations preferred.
- Experience in a complex, regulated, healthcare, higher-education, or similarly distributed organization is a plus.
