Blue Pearl Boston - Charlestown
Blue Pearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital, located in Charlestown, MA, is seeking a Veterinary Radiologist to establish a radiology service in our facility. Board certification or residency-training in radiology is required.
The annual range for this position is $252,600-$296,000. Additionally, you may be eligible to earn certain production as determined in accordance with company policy.
Blue Pearl Charlestown is located in a historic building in Boston and has a 24-hour ER service Monday-Thursday and Urgent Care Friday-Sunday. Our board-certified specialists include two surgeons, an anesthesiologist, an internist, and a dermatologist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with and receive mentorship from our experienced board-certified radiologists in our Waltham hospital, as well as that hospital’s emergency doctors, two surgeons, two criticalists, an internist, and anesthesiologist.
This motivated and synergistic group of specialists and emergency doctors work closely to provide the highest quality of care. Blue Pearl Charlestown provides a collaborative atmosphere while allowing you to build your service by creating personalized relationships with the primary and pet owning community of Boston. In collaboration with our Waltham location, we are able to provide the opportunity for advancement and leadership opportunities as well as a strong mentorship program.
The 8,500-square-foot hospital has an open treatment space floor plan and is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2017. It features a Toshiba Aquilion 64 slice CT, a Phillips EPIQ 5 Diamond Select Ultrasound, Sonosite SII portable ultrasound, Vet Ray Sedecal digital radiograph system, and OEC 9800 Super C Cardiac C-arm with 30 frames per second video and PACS integration. Our hospital also has an Arthrex laparoscopy/thoracoscopy/arthroscopy tower and Olympus endoscopic tower with full array of rigid and flexible endoscopic, bronchoscopic, and cystoscopic cameras.
Charlestown, MA is the oldest neighborhood in Boston. It is less than three miles to downtown Boston, Fenway Park, The Freedom Trail, Boston Harbor and is near National Museums. The area boasts great food and culture. Here in New England, we celebrate all four seasons and boast a variety of activities within a short drive—ocean to mountains, theatre to sporting events and everything in between.
