We are a premier, well-established Urgent Care network with five locations north of Boston, dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care to our communities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to join our leadership team. This full-time role includes both clinical practice and administrative oversight to support quality care delivery, provider development, and operational excellence.

Position Overview
  • Schedule:

    5 days/week
  • 3 days clinical (direct patient care)
  • 2 days administrative (leadership, quality, governance, operations)
  • Compensation: $240,000+ annually, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership across all urgent care locations
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Oversee clinical protocols, policies, and quality assurance programs
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy and workflow improvement
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to providers, ensuring clinical excellence and teamwork
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, credentialing, and ongoing provider education
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory standards and best practices
  • Maintain a positive, patient-focused culture aligned with organizational values
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care specialty
  • Active Massachusetts Medical License (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 3+ years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
  • Prior leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and operational efficiency
