We are a premier, well-established Urgent Care network with five locations north of Boston, dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care to our communities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to join our leadership team. This full-time role includes both clinical practice and administrative oversight to support quality care delivery, provider development, and operational excellence.
Position Overview- Schedule:
5 days/week - 3 days clinical (direct patient care)
- 2 days administrative (leadership, quality, governance, operations)
- Compensation: $240,000+ annually, commensurate with experience

- Provide clinical leadership across all urgent care locations
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee clinical protocols, policies, and quality assurance programs
- Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy and workflow improvement
- Serve as a mentor and resource to providers, ensuring clinical excellence and teamwork
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, credentialing, and ongoing provider education
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory standards and best practices
- Maintain a positive, patient-focused culture aligned with organizational values
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care specialty
- Active Massachusetts Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3+ years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
- Prior leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and operational efficiency
