DepartmentThe Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics.
Duties and Responsibilities- Providing clinical care (inpatient and outpatient)
- Participating in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other health professionals
- Having a leadership role in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship activities
- Conducting clinical, translational, epidemiologic, or laboratory research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases
- Other duties as needed
Protected time and an attractive start-up package for research-focused faculty are available.
Requirements / Qualifications- MD/DO, MD/PhD, degrees or equivalent
- BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
- Holding (or eligible for) a Massachusetts physician license
