Primary Care Physician interest in Geriatrics

, a top non-profit health system academically affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and New England College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a primary care physician to join our dynamic Geriatrics and Palliative Care Team.

• BC Internal or Family Medicine, CAQ or fellowship training in Geriatrics a plus
• Passionate about teamwork, teaching and high quality patient centered care

• Variety of practice options:
  Inpatient on our ACE unit at Kent Hospital or
• Outpatient primary care and consultative practice located adjacent to Kent Hospital with option for 25% inpatient
• Patient population:
  Older adults
• Scope of practice: primary care, cognitive evaluations, pre-operative geriatric assessment through our Geriatric Surgery Verification program, opportunity to participate in our e-consult service
• Collaborate on system wide Age Friendly initiatives

• Only Geriatric ED Accredited hospital in RI (ACEP Silver Level
  2)
• One of 43 national ACE Units – IHI “Committed to Excellence” approved
