Neonatologist
Boston Medical Center (BMC) – Brighton is seeking a full‑or part‑time Neonatologist (clinical faculty appointment, 0.6–1.0 FTE) to provide high‑quality neonatal care across our Level III NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery environments.
Position SummaryThe Neonatologist will join a well‑established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists who provide comprehensive, family‑centered care across the system. The clinical commitment spans both locations for a total of 0.6–1.0 FTE
, offering flexibility in scheduling and a supportive, team‑based care model.
- 18‑bed Level III NICU at Boston Medical Center – Brighton
- 10‑bed Special Care Nursery and Well Baby Nursery at Boston Medical Center – South
- Provide inpatient clinical care in the NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and family communication.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver evidence‑based neonatal care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the neonatal service.
- Engage in teaching of residents and medical students, as appropriate.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
