The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center/Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time General Obstetrician and Gynecologist to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. This physician will join a department that provides safe, high‑quality, cost‑effective obstetrical and gynecological care using evidence‑based medicine and best practices.

• Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in the supervision and education of medical students and residents, including bedside teaching, didactic lectures, and skills training.
• Engage in academic and scholarly activities, including quality improvement projects, clinical research, or educational scholarship, with mentorship and support provided.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that reflects the institution’s values of diversity, equity, and excellence in healthcare delivery.

Academic appointment will be at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Rank and salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience. This position includes competitive compensation, benefits package, and CME allowance.

• Opportunity to work in a high‑acuity labor and delivery unit, with approximately 3,000 deliveries/year
• Our multi‑disciplinary team includes OB/GYN generalists, specialists in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine, MIGS, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, Complex Family Planning, and REI, along with Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Genetic Counselors
• Outpatient practice where generalists, subspecialists, CNMs, and NPs practice side by side, with an opportunity to practice in a community health center setting
• Extensive 24/7 backup system
• In‑house Anesthesia and Level 3 NICU
• Care for a diverse patient population in a supportive and collegial environment
• We encourage involvement in research, education, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and/or hospital and university committees

• Applicants must possess an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Medical License
• Applicants must be board certified or be an active candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Fluency in Spanish, or languages other than English, is highly desirable but not required
• Experience in high volume, high‑risk obstetrics is also preferred
