Request for ApplicationsThe Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Boston Children’s Hospital is pleased to invite applications for its Pediatric Ethics Fellowship Program, starting July 1, 2027.
Program OverviewThis rigorous program is designed to equip fellows with the skills necessary to: independently provide high-quality pediatric clinical ethics consultations, educate learners and interprofessional teams in pediatric ethics, assume leadership roles within hospital ethics programs, and advance ethics scholarship and research. This fellowship is intended to foster the next generation of pediatric ethics leaders.
We offer both 1-year and 2-year fellowship options, with the 2-year program focusing on advanced scholarship/research, leadership, or subspecialty concentration (e.g., palliative care, neonatology, transplant ethics, research ethics, etc.) during the second year.
EligibilityApplicants should hold an advanced degree in a pertinent field, such as healthcare ethics, medicine, nursing, law, or related disciplines. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to developing expertise in pediatric ethics.
Funding and CompensationCompetitive salary, commensurate with level of training per hospital guidelines. Internal clinical Fellows may be eligible for inter-departmental arrangements.
