As a Locum MD/DO in Hematology Oncology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. • Evaluate and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Perform necessary diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans
• Stay updated with advancements in hematology and oncology practices
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in medical records
• Participate in tumor board meetings and case discussions

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of Massachusetts
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing hematologic malignancies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
• Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus

Schedule:

Beeper call in 7-day stretches (Monday-Sunday)

Patient Volume: 2 per shift

Patient Population:
Pediatrics

Hematology Oncology caseload

Must be board-certified
