Role:
Medical Lead for clinical trials, serving as the primary Medical Monitor to oversee safety and scientific integrity across Vertex's clinical development programs.
- develop study protocols, investigator's brochures, and clinical development plans
- participate in study execution teams
- prepare regulatory documents (INDs, safety reports)
- provide scientific input on study documents and analysis plans
- act as liaison internally and externally for clinical strategy and reporting
- MD, DO, or equivalent
- approximately 8+ years of clinical or research experience in academic or industry settings
- strong communication, collaboration, and regulatory interaction skills
High Value: focus on clinical trial oversight, safety monitoring, regulatory submission support, and cross-functional collaboration; experience with global trials, GCP standards, and clinical pharmacology is desirable.
Work Setup: hybrid or on-site at Vertex's location.
