Emergency Medicine in MA near Boston 15 miles to Quincy 20 miles to downtown Boston & the ocean 25 miles to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) 35 miles to Providence 50 miles to Cape Cod Teaching Hospital Join a highly collaborative and experienced Emergency Department team with an average physician tenure of more than 10 years. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported, high-functioning community hospital located just 20 miles from Boston.
Replace 2 physicians who are retiring. Emergency Department cares for approximately 60,000 patient visits annually and is staffed to support high-quality, efficient patient care, including:
• Two physicians on duty from 1:00 AM 7:00 AM
• 84 hours of physician coverage daily
• 36 hours of physician assistant coverage daily The hospital offers extensive specialty support, including in house:
• Surgery
• Anesthesia
• Obstetrics
• Neonatology
• 24-hour Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Dedicated Hospitalist service for admissions Benefits: 230/hour plus RVU and quality up to 40k/year 325/shift extra for night shifts Additional highlights include:
• Primarily 8.5-hour shifts
• 15 shifts / month considered full-time
• Flexible scheduling based on physician requests through an online scheduling platform with physician oversight (rather than a fixed block schedule) REQUIREMENTS:
• BE/BC in Emergency Medicine.
• Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS, ATLS Reference: 130251 H1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
