• Teach in-person Portuguese courses in the Global Languages department under the Division of the Humanities and Learning Communities.
• Teaching various levels and sections of POR-101, POR-102 (Beginner) and/or POR-201 (Intermediate).
• Courses are offered fully in-person on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses).

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Portuguese or related field.
• Experience teaching various levels and sections of POR-101 (Beginner) and/or POR-201 (Intermediate).
• Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies.
• Experience with high-impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).
• Proven ability to work with a faculty, staff, and student population.
• Community college teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.

Salary: $1,397.00 per credit hour.
