Since 2010, it has partnered with districts and the state to transform low‑performing schools into exceptional learning environments. The network runs two campuses in Dorchester, serving over 1,300 students in Boston Public Schools from pre‑K through 8th grade.

• Provide effective instruction in both push‑in and pull‑out settings to target language goals
• Collaborate closely with other teachers and service providers
• Collect and analyze data to monitor and report on student progress
• Deliver and implement specific ESL curricula to develop language and literacy skills

• Strong belief in UP Education Network’s core values:

• Background and knowledge of teaching multilingual students
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Pre‑K‑6 Massachusetts Teaching License in English as a Second Language (SEI endorsement)
• Current authorization to work in the United States

This is a long‑term substitute role. Salary is based on the host school district’s pay scale and collective bargaining agreement. As an employee of UP Academy, you will receive the same access to personal and sick days, health insurance, and dental insurance as other union members.
