Join our undergraduate summer fellowship program in medical physics.
The Mass General Brigham Undergraduate Summer Fellowship in Medical Physics is a 10-week paid learning experience for undergraduate students who have declared—or are eligible to declare—a major in physics, engineering, or related sciences. This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the dynamic and impactful field of medical physics within Radiation Oncology.
Selected participants will be paired with a Radiation Oncology Physics Faculty Member at Massachusetts General Hospital or Brigham and Women’s Hospital to work on a research project and will be invited to attend various departmental seminars and lectures throughout their fellowship. A hybrid option may be available based on hospital policy and student preference. Participants will receive a stipend of $6,000 in two installments.
Eligibility- Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies and have declared (or are eligible to declare) a major in physics, engineering, or other sciences
- United States (US) citizen or permanent US resident
- Have not previously participated in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine DREAM or Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program (concurrent applications are allowed)
