Early Childhood Teacher (Immediate Opening)

Schechter Boston is looking for an EEC Certified Teacher to join Gan Shelanu, our Early Childhood Program for the  school year. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for working with children. We are looking for someone who can create a nurturing and exciting environment for young learners.

Job Duties:

Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.

Develop activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children.

Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff.

Supervise children at all times.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be warm, nurturing and passionate about working with young children.

EEC certification required.

Bachelor’s Degree and background in education/early childhood education preferred.

Two years of relevant work experience, preferred.

Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds.

Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM

Competitive pay range $42,000-$75,000; commensurate with experience.
