The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. Boston University School of Law seeks an Employer Outreach and Recruitment Programs Manager to join the Office of Career Development and Public Service. The role is a key ambassador for the law school with employers in all sectors, responsible for expanding connections with legal employers and generating opportunities for our students and graduates.

Responsibilities
  • Lead employer outreach efforts for the Career Development and Public Service Office.
  • Cultivate relationships with employers in local and target markets to generate new job opportunities for law students and graduates.
  • Collaborate with career advisors to promote job opportunities to current students and graduates, and provide follow-up with employers as needed.
  • Provide regular reports on outreach activities and measure outcomes.
  • Manage on- and off-campus recruitment programs, the mock interview program, and coordinate all employer visits.
  • Liaise with law school faculty, senior administrators, and law school consortium members.
  • Manage the First Year Student Career Conference and oversee planning for CDO recruitment-related programming; generate resources and communications for students to apply and participate; build relationships with job fair coordinators.

Required Skills / Qualifications
  • B.S./B.A. required; JD degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in legal recruiting or a related field.
  • Some experience in employer outreach or employer relations.
  • Experience working with legal employers to recruit law students and law graduates.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity/proficiency with Excel and 12

    Twenty preferred.
