Northeastern University School of Law Department of Online and Hybrid Programs seeks part-time lecturers to teach and/or develop asynchronous online courses in our graduate law programs.
The Master of Legal Studies (MLS) Program is designed for non-lawyer professionals working in highly regulated industries.
Our focus areas include, but are not limited to, Legal Studies, Employment Law, Health Law, Business Law, Public Policy, and Intellectual Property.
Courses in this program are 7 to 8 weeks long (half a semester).
The Online Master of Laws (LLM) Program (Program Website) offers courses in general LLM curriculum (including bar preparation), International Business Law, and Intellectual Property Law.
This program is designed for foreign-trained attorneys seeking to practice law in the United States, as well as U.S. JD holders interested in specialized legal fields.
Courses in this program run for a full semester, 14 weeks.
Instructors may be engaged in course development, teaching, or both.
Those who develop courses typically teach them upon completion.
Candidates should indicate in their cover letter which program(s) they are interested in teaching for (MLS, LLM, or both), as well as any relevant teaching experience (both on-ground and online).
Applicants will also be required to select their program preference within the application form.
This is a pooled posting; applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis.
