This is a full-time, field-based role and involves frequent travel within the state of New Hampshire. In this position, the Solar Advisor consults with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions. Daily responsibilities include educating prospective customers about solar power and resilient energy systems, explaining system options and financing, and guiding them through the sales process.
The role involves conducting site visits, preparing proposals, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The Solar Advisor works closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from initial inquiry through installation and follow-up.
- Must have and maintain a clean and valid driving record.
- Previous outside sales experience (solar or home improvement preferred)
- GED or High School Diploma required, (Applicable College degree is a plus.)
- FAA certified drone pilot license is not required, but is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Must be comfortable working outside in all seasons (hot summers, cold winters)
- Must be able to work independently.
- Advanced computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM platforms, Design tools, etc.)
- Must be self-motivated and efficient in a field work environment.
- Must be a quick study and demonstrate confidence with new information.
Background, drug screen & Motor Vehicle Record screen will be conducted.
