Haley & Aldrich is a leading firm of engineers and scientists serving clients in the built and natural environments. We are looking to add a new talent to our growing team. This is a full-time position located in our Boston, MA office.

• Serve as a key member of a highly integrated, collaborative team on challenging high-profile design and construction projects.
• Understand client needs and execute projects to achieve client and company goals.
• Develop work scopes and cost estimates for new opportunities.
• Manage financial and technical aspects of projects and effectively assign and manage work.
• Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements.
• Plan and direct geotechnical field observation and testing programs.
• Conduct geotechnical analyses and prepare recommendations for design and construction projects (deep foundations, embankments, ground improvement, retaining walls).
• Collaborate effectively in a single profit center, team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Prepare project deliverables including reports, plans and specifications.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills for client deliverables and regulatory submittals.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.

• Master's degree in geotechnical engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts or eligible for reciprocity within six months.
• Minimum of 8 years of geotechnical experience including site investigation, laboratory testing, geotechnical analysis, and construction support, including professional services consulting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing geotechnical engineering projects from proposal to construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in writing, reviewing, and editing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
• Strong computer literacy with industry-standard software.
• OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER strongly preferred.

The salary range for this position in Boston, MA is $110,000 - $127,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on education, experience, certificates, skills, and market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges quarterly to assess competitiveness.
