Sr. Research Scientist, Robotics & Computer Vision Responsibility

• 1. Research and develop robotics systems and computer vision algorithms;
• 2. Extend and improve company's existing algorithms and libraries
• 3. Work closely with colleagues and management to develop company assets in robotics systems and computer vision;
• 4. Conduct cutting-edge research and transfer research results into practical product solutions;
• 5. Establish strong relationship with potential customers and clinical partners;
• 6. Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a nice team-working environment;
• 7. Be ambitious to lead the changes in future Healthcare with innovations

• 1. PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
• 2. 5+ years of experience in research and development in robotics systems and computer vision;
• 3. Strong knowledge in state-of-the-art robotics, perception, computer vision and machine learning technologies;
• 4. Strong programming skills with at least one programming language such as C++ and Python.
• 5. Proven experience in conducting cutting edge research with successful outcome;
• 6. Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals in Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related fields (e.g. ICRA, RSS, CVPR, CoRL, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, IJCV, NIPS, ICLR, ICML, IJRR, etc.);
• 7. Ability to develop practical solutions to challenging problems;
• 8. Strong writing, communication, and cross discipline collaboration skills;
• 9. Strong experience and knowledge in Deep Learning and AI-related technologies;
• 10. Familiar with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch and Tensorflow;
• 11. Experience with OpenCV, ROS, PCL or VTK;
• 12. Experience with control and sensor fusion algorithms is a plus
• 13. Experience with RGBD sensors is a plus;
