FRA is seeking to hire multiple engineers at all levels. These are full-time, on-site roles for Fire Protection Engineers located in the Greater Boston, MA area (other locations available as well). The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for conducting fire safety evaluations, developing fire protection strategies, designing fire suppression and detection systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
The role involves coordinating with diverse teams, providing technical expertise, and supporting clients in addressing their safety and risk management needs.
- Proficiency in Fire Protection Engineering and Life Safety principles
- Knowledge and application of Fire Safety and Safety Engineering concepts
- Experience with Fire Suppression Systems and related technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with applicable fire safety codes, standards, and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, EIT) is a plus
- Experience in risk management and fire risk assessment is advantageous
