Mid- to upper-level plumbing​/fire protection engineer

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary firm with over 50 years of experience providing cutting-edge solutions across diverse sectors, including healthcare, education, and government. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with integrated teams to deliver high-quality designs and client-focused service. This position is based in Boston.

• Innovative Design:
  Lead the design and development of plumbing and fire protection systems and components.
• Project Leadership:
  Oversee and support project teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across various disciplines.
• Engineering Analysis:
  Conduct and assist with detailed engineering analyses and simulations.
• Mentorship and Learning:
  Mentor junior engineers while also learning from senior engineers.

• Educational Background:
  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  7 years of engineering experience with a focus on complex design and development. PE preferred.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and design tools.
• Knowledge Base:
  Strong understanding of plumbing and fire protection systems, power distribution, and control systems.
