United States (any location, ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office)

• Design HVAC systems for electric vehicle, data center, and heavy industrial facilities.
• Develop design criteria for general comfort, temperature‐controlled, pressurization, and clean room applications.
• Create conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents—including calculations, P&IDs, piping layouts, and construction drawings.
• Layout ductwork systems based on P&IDs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
• Ensure project schedule and technical quality meet client expectations.

• Five (5) or more years of HVAC design experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced, multiple‑deadline environments.
• Collaborate remotely with building mechanical lead and other discipline team members.

• Professional Engineering license.
• Software proficiency:
  Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, Trane Trace 3D.
• Plumbing/utility system design experience.
