As a Bridge and Structural Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage complex transportation and structural engineering projects, ensuring their successful delivery through expert technical guidance, client management, and team leadership. Collaborating with a skilled team of engineers, scientists, and planners, you will provide innovative solutions and drive operational excellence. You will apply relevant design criteria, standards, and processes to deliver high-quality engineering tasks in the transportation and structural engineering field.
This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging transportation projects across the New England area. We offer a hybrid work schedule, with positions available in Boston, MA;
Worcester, MA;
Manchester, NH; or Rocky Hill, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex transportation and structural engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and exceeding client expectations.
Provide expert technical guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to high standards of design, engineering processes, and quality. Oversee and validate deliverables, including design computations, contract drawings, specifications, and estimates, ensuring thorough risk mitigation.
Oversee project scheduling, cost management, and resource allocation, ensuring the successful completion of transportation infrastructure projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal and utility clients, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring ongoing project success.
Mentor and support the professional growth of team members, guiding them in their technical and career development.
Contribute to proposal presentations and scoping activities, identifying new business opportunities and expanding the range of services offered to clients.
Work closely with engineers, scientists, and planners in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to deliver comprehensive project solutions.
Contribute to industry technical conferences, committees, and internal development programs. Serve as a design lead and technical advisor for junior engineers and CAD staff.
