About the roleAt Travel Perk, we believe in empowering cross‑functional teams that deliver exceptional results for our customers and the company. We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Spend Management squads
, focusing on the US market.
The Cards and Expenses products are core pillars of Travel Perk’s Travel&Spend platform
. Together, they give businesses real‑time visibility and control over spend, streamline reconciliation, ensure compliance with local regulations, and create a seamless user experience. For employees, this means eliminating the burden of using personal funds or complex reimbursement processes—simplifying the entire expense journey.
As the first NAM Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in tailoring our global platform to meet the unique needs of the North American market. You’ll manage and scale high‑performing engineering teams, deliver impactful features, and collaborate across functions to make Travel Perk the leader in travel and spend management.

Manage, coach, and inspire engineers across both the Cards and Expenses squads, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.Drive Delivery

Be accountable for building and shipping features that deliver measurable business value and customer delight in the North American market.Ensure Engineering Excellence

Balance speed with sustainability—ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with finance, tax, and regulatory requirements.Set Technical Direction

Guide architectural decisions, support engineers through technical challenges, and advocate for simplicity, efficiency, and performance.Collaborate Cross‑Functionally
:
Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders to align engineering work with strategic priorities.Empower Your Team

Remove blockers, create clarity, and help your teams stay focused on delivering outcomes.Recruit & Scale
:
Play an active role in hiring, onboarding, and evolving engineering practices to support growth in North America.Stay Customer‑Focused

Work with Implementation, Sales Engineering, and Account Management teams to ensure features address real customer pain points and unlock adoption.
Proven Leadership
: 7+ years in technology, with at least 3+ years managing engineering teams delivering B2B SaaS products.Domain Expertise
:
Experience with
payments, card products, or expense management in the North American market is a strong plus.Technical Acumen
:
Solid foundation in software engineering and system design; able to guide teams in making smart technical trade‑offs.People Management Skills
