• Lead performance contracting projects from conception to completion, serving as the primary client contact throughout all phases.
• Introduce and explain CMTA’s performance contracting approach to potential clients, identifying opportunities that provide long-term value.
• Articulate CMTA’s unique value proposition in both technical and financial terms.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business, referrals, and long‑term partnerships.
• Participate in business‑development efforts including client meetings, industry events, and proposal development.
• Lead the development phase: site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Direct the engineering design team in producing drawings and specifications.
• Direct the bidding process to ensure quality and competitive outcomes.
• Collaborate with the client to finalize the performance contract.
• Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.
• Direct the commissioning process to validate performance.
• Support the client through the warranty phase as needed.
• Work with M&V professional to develop the first‑year M&V report.
• Demonstrate knowledge of state‑specific K‑12 design‑build procurement processes and ensure alignment with state and district requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Must have an undergrad degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
