• Coordinate work activities with other engineers, personnel, consulting engineering firms, municipalities, utilities, manufacturers, customers, and contractors.
• Acquire familiarity with rules and procedures of other departments (permitting, tagging procedures, safety rules).
• Ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance of the work.
• Ensure all proper tools, equipment, and materials are available and used properly, including returning materials to inventory.
• Respond to emergency situations and perform emergency restoration assignments when called.

• Pass physical requirements: corrective vision, normal color perception, hearing, sense of smell; valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Science, or Electrical Technology.
• Demonstrated interest and aptitude for successful progress in the engineering profession.
• Personality traits: alertness, self‑reliance, poise, tact, and harmonious relations with associates.
