Overview

Sr. Fire Protection Engineer – Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Jensen Hughes has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer to add to our growing Northeast team. We are open to this individual reporting to any of our Northeast office locations or a remote work location utilizing our flexible remote policy for qualified applicants. • Lead and contribute to fire protection engineering and life safety consulting on commercial, institutional and industrial projects for clients worldwide.
• Partner with leadership to develop a successful team and foster a positive, inclusive office culture.
• Maintain an inclusive working environment and promote diversity of thought and collaboration to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Support client engagement and relationship management to deliver quality products on time and within budget.
• Assist regional leaders and business development staff to support growth goals by cultivating and expanding client relationships.
• Communicate clearly to manage client expectations and guide team members in doing the same.
• Support business process improvements and advocate for the delivery of best-in-class service.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity and alignment with company policies and guidelines.
• Develop innovative solutions by leveraging diverse education, perspectives, and expertise within the team.
• Establish credibility with clients through involvement with professional/trade organizations, code-making bodies, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor staff on business processes and procedures and identify growth opportunities for regional teams.
• Foster collaboration with regional leaders, project managers, and Jensen Hughes partners to balance workload and promote cross-office cooperation.

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in consulting or engineering.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Fire Protection Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to mentor staff and interface with clients; demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and excellent organizational skills.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.

National Pay Range: $140,000-$160,000 USD
