My client – an innovative manufacturer of special purpose machinery is on the lookout for an experienced Control System Engineer to join their team on a Permanent basis in Boston, MA.
Experience in ground-up programming and writing PLC / SCADA systems using Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs is a pre-requisite for this position.
The ideal candidate will additionally have demonstrable experience within the identification, selection and programming of Automation architecture for bespoke machinery and industrial automation projects.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Rate: $110,000 - $125,000
- BS or MS in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
- PLC Programming experience using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Beckhoff.
- Ability to program at Structured Text level.
- Microcontroller and C++ programming experience.
- Prior experience within an OEM.
- Writing software for PLCs and Microcontrollers.
- Continuous development of bespoke machinery for differing industries.
- Delivering solutions integrating robotics.
- Participating in Project Specifications to participate in a full life cycle design process.
- Working between a number of departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient delivery of projects.
