K. Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Designer or Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-respected, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm. In this role, you will work on the design and documentation of HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects. You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers, architects, and contractors while building your technical expertise and project experience.

• Assist in the design of HVAC and mechanical systems from concept through construction.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings, load calculations, and equipment selections.
• Support coordination with other disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and observe installations.
• Apply applicable codes and standards under the guidance of senior engineers.

• 3+ years of mechanical design or HVAC engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Ability to perform basic load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• EIT or working toward licensure is a plus.
