Lead and perform site studies, site development design, and preparation of contract documents for civil/site projects

Develop and oversee site layout, grading, utility, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control designs

Apply engineering principles, standards, and regulatory requirements to develop practical and constructible design solutions

Independently manage civil design tasks and deliverables for projects of varying size and complexity

Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and permitting agencies throughout the design and construction process

Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and other project documentation

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and EITsAssist with project management responsibilities, including scope, schedule, budget, and coordination of civil/site design work Serve as a technical lead on civil/site projects and support senior project managers and technical staff as needed

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 6 years of experience in progressive civil / site development engineering - 10 years experience is preferred

Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and experience with civil engineering software such as HydroCAD, StormCAD, Pond Pack, Flow Master, or similar platforms

Experience with site development, grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and permitting

Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff

Demonstrated ability to independently manage technical assignments and deliver quality work within established schedules and budgets

Local candidates preferred

Qualifications

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree

Previous experience in general civil engineering

Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.

Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
