**** What you will be doing:
** Vertex is seeking a motivated Co-Op, Preformulation Automation to join our Preformulation group in Pharmaceutical Sciences & Manufacturing in Boston.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a student to contribute to automation initiatives that support early formulation development activities for preclinical drug candidates. The Co-Op will work closely with formulation scientists and cross-functional partners to help streamline laboratory workflows, improve data capture and analysis, and support the development of automated tools and systems within the Preformulation environment.
This position is ideal for a student with an interest in pharmaceutical development, laboratory automation, data systems, and process improvement. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced research environment while contributing to projects that enhance efficiency, reproducibility, and data quality.

*** Support automation workflows on preclinical drug candidates within the Preformulation group
* Collect, organize, and analyze experimental and operational data to support decision-making
