Security Door Attendant – Boston, MA (Part Time)

The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is hiring a part-time Security Door Attendant for its community in Boston, MA.

Work Hours

DAYTIME Floater, flexible schedule, weekends required.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet homeowners, residents, visitors, guests, members of the Board of Directors, maintenance vendors, and contractors.
  • Open doorways for people to enter and exit.
  • Ensure the front door and lobby area are secure and safe.
  • Remain at assigned post and maintain proper stance.
  • Respond to inquiries and assist where needed.
  • Play an active role in valet parking procedures, ensuring timely removal of cars, and secure taxicabs for residents and guests.
  • Transport luggage for Porter pick-up and deliver to units.
  • Communicate with, update, and inform Concierge Staff and Management team.
  • Assist Porters in placement and removal of lobby rain/snow mats, and maintain the entrance area and lobby.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of local attractions and activities.
  • Other duties as requested.
Pay Rate

$20–$23 an hour.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Door Attendant and/or in security functions.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Service‑driven, customer‑focused, team‑oriented.
  • Outgoing, polite, proactive, and takes initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make good decisions quickly.
  • Physical ability to remove, replace, and transport residents’ or guests’ luggage and packages in and out of vehicles.
  • Ability to withstand outdoor work in all weather conditions throughout assigned shift.
