Customer Service Rep
Summary
The Lot Attendant is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue and parking reports while providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all guests during their entire stay. The Lot Attendant is also responsible, when stacking is necessary, for properly parking and retrieving guest vehicles while exhibiting standards of exceptional customer service.
CompensationThe hourly base pay for this position is $16 per hour.
Work ScheduleThe work schedule for this position is 8am-4:30pm and 8:30am-5pm shifts.

Essential Functions- Maintains pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests (15%)
- Maintains accuracy and composure under pressure, using correct phone etiquette and greeting guests (15%)
- Provides information about surrounding area, protects guest confidentiality per HIPAA, and maintains security of customer financial and identifying information (10%)
- Stacks vehicles when necessary, secures keys, retrieves vehicles, and drives slowly and cautiously (20%)
- Collects and reconciles revenue accurately, furnishes receipts, completes shift reports, follows bank SOP, and operates equipment such as register, gate, POS, credit card machine (20%)
- Obtains information on daily events and rates, secures guest keys, maintains claim checks and falls archives, and produces vehicle inventory for billing purposes (20%)
The total amount of time for all functions of the job is 100%.
Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Required Licensure, Certification, etc.: Must be at least 18 years of age, pass a criminal background check and drug screen, possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Work Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of customer service.
- Skills: Customer service experience preferred; register/computer experience preferred; ability to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking; read/write standard English; read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to guests, clients and other employees; perform basic arithmetic operations with money, weight, volume and distance; understand 24‑hour and military time systems; understand applicable rates and time passed.
Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions and are checked or verified on a frequent basis. Decisions are made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Authority To Act- The employee follows established guidelines and performs duties with frequent verification.

- Regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision needed includes close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Lifting:
Up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly. - Working environment:
Majority outdoors for extended periods, environments may include extreme heat or cold. Protection from weather conditions may or may not be provided. - Travel:
Up to 5% may be required.
