Our client, a leading alternative asset management firm is seeking a Tax Reporting Analyst to join its collaborative and entrepreneurial team. About the RoleThe Tax Reporting Analyst will play a key role in modernizing tax workflows, reducing manual processes, and improving data integrity across the organization. This position will leverage tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and other tax technology platforms to automate processes and enhance reporting capabilities. The role offers high visibility and the chance to work closely with tax leadership, operations, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement automated tax workflows and data pipelines to streamline reporting.
- Integrate tax systems with accounting platforms and data warehouses.
- Enhance data quality through robust controls, exception reporting, and reconciliation checks.
- Support preparation and review of partnership tax allocations, K-1/K-3 reporting, and investor-level reporting.
- Assist with quarterly estimates, annual filings, and complex book-to-tax adjustments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in tax technology or partnership taxation (Big 4 or asset management experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of hedge fund or partnership tax concepts and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, and advanced Excel; experience with platforms like K1x, Brightline, or ONESOURCE is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
