CRA Loan Officer
Citizens, an established financial services company operating in 12 states and globally, seeks a dedicated CRA Loan Officer to build and maintain a CRA‑eligible business base and generate new mortgage lending opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain 55% of overall business as CRA eligible and generate 8 preapprovals/prequals per month.
- Conduct 12 homebuyer seminars per year in designated MSAs and report on referrals; the PSM should attend 6 seminars a year with CRA LO.
- Conduct and participate in mortgage lunch and learn sessions: 1 per month.
- Work with Low and Moderate Income (LMI) branches in your MSA to educate on CRA mortgage products to generate referrals (if assigned to branches).
- Collaborate closely with the Community Development Market Manager to participate in CRA events such as Housing Fairs.
- Volunteer to serve on a board or committee of a not‑for‑profit organization.
- Schedule on‑call days with Community Development Market Managers: 1 per quarter.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales preferred.
- Three or more years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
- Documented residential mortgage loan volume of $12 million (minimum) in the past 12 months.
- Established relationships with local referral networks.
- Strong communication skills – clear, effective verbal and written communication across a variety of audiences.
- Advanced computer skills and experience using laptop technology.
- Compliance with all SAFE Act requirements, including successful pre‑employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
Hours per week: 40.
Work schedule:
Monday through Friday.
Commission‑based compensation with a potential earnings range of $100,000‑$250,000 per year based on performance, plus a base salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000.
