VP of Valuations - Private Equity - Boston - Hybrid

A leading PE firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Valuations team. This senior role will lead valuation efforts across a diverse portfolio of growth-oriented companies, and provide strategic financial insights that support investment decisions, fundraising, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee valuation analysis for a wide range of portfolio companies across the firm’s core sectors

• Drive preparation of materials for financial reporting, investor communications, and fundraising initiatives

• Partner with investment, finance, and investor relations teams on fund launches, due diligence, and performance analysis

• Deliver strategic analyses on portfolio risk, fund performance, and forecasting to senior leadership

• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality outputs and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

• 8+ years of experience in valuations, private equity, or investment analysis, with prior leadership experience

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills

This role offers significant exposure to portfolio management and investment decision-making within a top-tier private equity firm. The approximate base salary range for this position is $150,000-$225,000, depending on experience.
