Credit Manager

Global organization on the North Shore of Boston is seeking a talented credit and collections professional to lead a team responsible for accurate billing, mitigating risk and collections of outstanding receivables. This is a fully in‑house position.

• Responsible for mitigating company risk by reviewing credit worthiness of new and existing customers to limit bad debt loss. Determine credit limits on new customers and make decisions on releasing orders based on histories and analysis of financial information.
• Oversee collection process, ensuring timely payment of invoices and resolving any customers disputes, billing discrepancies, and credit/debit issues to improve company cash flow.
• Approve Sales Tax credits and coordinate management of sales tax exemption documents.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on cash forecasts, bad debt, write‑offs, audits, DSO and budgeting.
• Oversee billing and cash application process.
• Provide continuous process improvement for the functionality of the department.

• Minimum of 7 years leading a credit and collections team for national/global organization.
• Experience with bonds and liens within the construction and building materials industry.
• Proven leadership, project management and analytical skills.
• Strong systems skills, MS Office, SAP preferred.
