Real Estate Finance Associate

The practice represents a wide range of commercial real estate lenders, including banks, insurance companies, mortgage REITs, debt funds, and other institutional and alternative capital providers. Attorneys regularly advise on loan originations and financings across all major asset classes, including office, retail, multifamily, industrial, mixed‑use developments, hospitality and resort properties, storage facilities, manufactured housing communities, and single‑family rental portfolios.

• Advise lenders on commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle loan origination, mezzanine financing, and preferred equity structures.
• Draft and negotiate primary loan documentation and manage transactions through closing.
• Support asset management, workouts, and secondary market transactions.
• Work closely with partners and national deal teams.

• 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Ability to independently manage lender‑side transactions.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required.
• Competitive base salary, expected to range from $270,000 to $350,000, depending on experience.
